I had the pleasure of working with Sonam, and I cannot recommend her highly enough. She acted with exceptional skill and integrity on behalf of both the landlord and the tenant, consistently finding creative, fair, and practical solutions that served all parties involved. Importantly, I managed this entire process while living and working outside of Hong Kong, and Sonam still made everything completely seamless. Her ability to communicate clearly, consistently, and proactively across time zones was essential in ensuring the process ran smoothly and without unnecessary stress. Sonam was always timely, proactive, and incredibly professional in the way she managed issues and guided the process from start to finish. If I can be brutally honest - I generally haven’t had great experiences with estate agents and don’t hold them in high regard. Poor communication, not listening, not being flexible (and many other things of you require a full list :) Ellen, conversely, has been amazing and genuinely made what could otherwise have been a stressful experience a real joy. From the off Ellen listened to what I was looking for, clarified my requests, and then set about showing me only properties I would be interested in. She was totally transparent in her thoughts on each instead of trying to ‘sell me’; she was super responsive; she flexed completed to my schedule and ultimately once we found a property I wanted to move into, I really felt that she went the extra mile not just to secure it but also get due diligence sorted and arrange all the start-up utilities etc. This may sound like an over the top note but I mean it with all sincerity.
