Our first rental experience was very unpleasant. Our previous agent was deceptive and our landlord the same and it left us very wary this time around. Thankfully, I read an article about the OKAY.com DB team last year and decided to call them as soon as our lease was up. It was great to talk to an agent who not only understood our expectations and requirements but respected them. It was refreshing to be taken to see places that fit the bill and not be shown places that had some of the things we had asked for but were clearly not going to be considered. I also appreciated Nina's help in taking me to a furniture store that makes beds, made to order and then for saving me money by forwarding me an ad for a second hand one that fits perfectly. It's great to talk with someone who looks after their customers that well! For any problems, Nina got back to me in a timely fashion and fixed them with a positive attitude. Who could ask for more?

Jane knows the HK market very well and was an excellent judge of the types of places I was interested in. This means I didn't waste time and I didn't need other agents. Jane was very warm and friendly and very professional. She was always at a viewing ahead of time and had already looked at the place in detail. I hate to be competing with the agent to look! Jane left me to view in peace and then had lots of pointers afterwards to help me assess suitability. She also made room plans for me of the flat I was interested in and this was very helpful. Jane had good knowledge of negotiating and how different landlords are open to different types of offers. This was very helpful. I would thoroughly recommend Jane.

Nina showed us several potential places upon our first exploratory trip to Discovery Bay, quickly learning what we, as newbies to Hong Kong, found important in a potential apartment. In the 6-month period between our visit and effective move, Nina informed us on all available premises that met our standards - with each proposition being a real potential hit. As we have two young children we were unable to fly back out to HK to sign the rental contract but Nina helped us through all the formalities while we were on the other side of the world - including a real-time video tour for our final selection. When arriving in Discovery Bay, we had more assistance than one could imagine, the water, gas and electricity were arranged, and Nina was awaiting us with her super golf cart to help us get our luggage to the apartment. Even today, 4 months later, Nina is still there for us in case there are any issues. She has been a real force that takes the headache out of moving.
