My husband and I just relocated to HK from New York. We were matched with Ruby for our property search, and we could not be happier with her service. Ruby was extremely diligent and professional throughout the entire process, not to mention friendly and pleasant. Because she knew that our top priority was to find something quickly, she lined up a day of 8+ hours of viewings, and we were able to select an apartment from the crop she showed us on the first day. We were impressed that she took so much time with us and was able to arrange so many viewings in one rather long day. Apart from that, we were delighted that Ruby, in many ways, exceeded the expectations of her job. She showed us many more apartments than she “needed” to, recommended additional districts, assisted with our furniture search and was extremely diligent in coordinating with our landlord to expedite the signing of our lease. The fact that Ruby went above and beyond deserves special recognition.

Stephanie guided us through Clear Water Bay and Sai Kung and helped us to understand the area. She was extremely well-organised and attentive from day one, and certainly went beyond our expectations. When it came to assessing the different property options, her guidance was invaluable as Stephanie knows the area inside out. In addition, her knowledge of transaction structuring, the roles of the bank and lawyers, also made a difference, as were her insights on the neighbourhoods. With many years of experience dealing with property transactions, Stephanie certainly helped us avoid making mistakes as first time buyers in Hong Kong. Her help would be an asset to anyone looking to find a perfect family home in Hong Kong.

Our first rental experience was very unpleasant. Our previous agent was deceptive and our landlord the same and it left us very wary this time around. Thankfully, I read an article about the OKAY.com DB team last year and decided to call them as soon as our lease was up. It was great to talk to an agent who not only understood our expectations and requirements but respected them. It was refreshing to be taken to see places that fit the bill and not be shown places that had some of the things we had asked for but were clearly not going to be considered. I also appreciated Nina's help in taking me to a furniture store that makes beds, made to order and then for saving me money by forwarding me an ad for a second hand one that fits perfectly. It's great to talk with someone who looks after their customers that well! For any problems, Nina got back to me in a timely fashion and fixed them with a positive attitude. Who could ask for more?
