If I can be brutally honest - I generally haven’t had great experiences with estate agents and don’t hold them in high regard. Poor communication, not listening, not being flexible (and many other things of you require a full list :) Ellen, conversely, has been amazing and genuinely made what could otherwise have been a stressful experience a real joy. From the off Ellen listened to what I was looking for, clarified my requests, and then set about showing me only properties I would be interested in. She was totally transparent in her thoughts on each instead of trying to ‘sell me’; she was super responsive; she flexed completed to my schedule and ultimately once we found a property I wanted to move into, I really felt that she went the extra mile not just to secure it but also get due diligence sorted and arrange all the start-up utilities etc. This may sound like an over the top note but I mean it with all sincerity. Vion was very accommodating and helpful. She didn't push me to get a particular place but instead gave me the space to consider which apartment I like. She also helped to look out for blind spots (e.g. fridge not working, water pipes not working, missing bulbs etc) which I was not as familiar with. Finally, Vion was also very helpful and helped me to secure furniture and arrange for movers to bring the furniture into my new place (and oversaw the move as I was overseas).
