About Kowloon Station
Kowloon Station is located along the waterfront in western Kowloon and is one of HK’s newest up-market residential districts, matching the convenience, amenities and spectacular harbor views once available only to residents of Hong Kong Island. Surging rents in Hong Kong’s key business districts have encouraged corporations to seek out lower cost locations, and demand for offices in the area is also growing as a result. The International Commerce Centre (ICC), HK’s tallest building, has now been completed and is home to the world’s highest hotel, the Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong. Kowloon Station is connected to the Tung Chung Line on the MTR and the Airport Express. It is also positioned next to the Western Harbour Crossing. Housing: High rises with state-of-the-art facilities have been purposefully built to provide luxurious homes for the many business executives that choose to locate here. Recent developments include The Cullinan, The Arch and The Waterfront, located directly above Kowloon Station. Schools: King George V (KGV), one of the oldest secondary schools in Hong Kong, and a member of the English Schools Foundation (ESF) is located in nearby Ho Man Tin. Schools in and around Kowloon Tong are also accessible to residents. These include Australian International School, American International School, Yew Chung International School, Concordia International School and Diocesan Boys School. PIPS is an International Baccalaureate Prep School that is located in the neighborhood. It follows an enquiry-based “primary years programme” (PYP). Hong Kong Island schools are also only a short journey away. Highlights: Elements Shopping Mall is located above the MTR and provides a shortcut to the many residences that stand above it. It is filled with shops and restaurants, and also boasts an ice-skating rink and cinema. The West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade is located a short walk away and hosts a variety of entertainment & leisure events including wine fairs and concerts. The Ritz-Carlton Hong Kong is located within the ICC and is the world’s highest hotel. It occupies the 102nd -118th floors of the building, with its Ozone bar on the top floor offering some of the most breath-taking views of Hong Kong Island from a truly surreal height.
