21 October 2014 - The government is putting more land on the market. The Lands Department yesterday announced that a low-density residential site on Tai Po Road in Tai Wai spanning 70,504 square feet, with a gross floor area of 88,835 to 148,058 sq. ft., will be made available for tender in November.
Tenders can be submitted from 14 November 2014 to 2 January 2015. Located on the Tai Wai section of Tai Po Road, the plot is earmarked for private flats and public parking. Analysts believe upscale houses and apartments will be built. Surveyors valued the site at HKD800 million to HKD900 million.
