Developers: "Occupy Central does not affect property launch"

Occupy Central and Hong Kong Property29 September 2014 - The Occupy Central movement officially commenced over the weekend. Nevertheless, many brand new residential projects with show flats and sale offices located on Hong Kong Island continued to operate on Sunday.

A Swire spokesperson told the media that the developer will stick to its plan of launching the second batch of units at “Arezzo” in Mid-Levels West on Tuesday.

In addition, Sun Hung Kai Properties (0016) and Henderson Land (0012) said that Occupy Central didn’t affect the process of their residential projects which were launched over the past weekend.
