We first contacted OKAY.com in June 2016 as soon as we knew we were moving to Discovery Bay from abroad. With Nina’s understanding of our wants, needs and concerns the whole house hunting experience in a foreign place couldn’t have been smoother or more stress free. Every doubt, paperwork, law and other local bureaucracies were explained to us promptly. Our experience with Andrea couldn't be more different to what we experienced with other agents who were pushy and had bad follow up. Andrea listened and asked good questions about our lifestyle and needs/wants, more importantly, every time we stepped into a property, she was as engaged as us and would look around and check the place thoroughly to make sure there were no unpleasant surprises. Early last year Helena Lau very deftly handled the successful letting of our flat to the satisfaction of two quite fussy people! Immaculate paperwork too. In the interim all routine management work, not really OKAY’s province handled well too. Recently the very reliable tenant has sought to vacate early (economic reasons) Helena reminded her that the contractual notice period is two months! She has expended a lot of energy in endeavouring to find a new tenant. Quite a lot of messaging involved. Tenant has now decided to stay on. So your letting fee is now deferred! The important thing is that Helena maintained momentum-an important attribute. I think OKAY’s recruitment and training policy really shines through here. I hope management think so also.
