The large luxury estate - BAGUIO VILLA is located by Telegraph Bay near Pokfulam on the southwest part of Hong Kong Island. Boasting a mid-mountain vantage point facing the sea, this project was built by New World Development in conjunction with the architects of Don Pan & Associates. The entire estate comprises a total of 33 blocks. Blocks 16 to 48 were launched in six phases between 1975 to 1979, and provide 1,514 units. Intersected by Victoria Road, Baguio Villa is divided into two sections: Upper Baguio (Phase 4 and 5), including Blocks 19 to 27 situated at a higher level and surrounded by mountains. All unit layouts here contain four units on each floor with sizes ranging from 906 to 1,363 sq.ft., most flats also have verandas. Lower Baguio (Phase 1, 2, 3 and 6) sits relatively lower on the mountain and includes Blocks 16 to 18 as well as 28 to 48. Each block has one or two units on each floor with saleable areas ranging from 1,241 to 2,488 sq.ft. designed in three- or four-bedroom units, all with verandas.
