These neighbourhoods are characterised by their tranquil and low-density ambience, with Chung Hom Kok considerably less crowded than Stanley. Murray House is one of Hong Kong’s oldest surviving public buildings and was relocated from Central to its current position in Stanley. During June every year, the Stanley International Dragon Boat Championship is the highlight at Stanley Main Beach. A number of international corporate teams participate in this cultural sporting event.
