The residential estate Heng Fa Chuen is made up of 48 high rise buildings. Shau Kei Wan is one of the more densely populated areas in the Eastern District, with a number of public and private high-rise estates. Island Resort is one of the Eastern District’s most popular luxury high-rise developments. It was completed in 2001 and consists of four towers, each sixty floors high. Schools: Chinese International School is located at nearby Braemar Hill, and follows the International Baccalaureate system. Its primary school programme offers bilingual teaching in both English and Mandarin. Quarry Bay School is an English Schools Foundation (ESF) primary school, and is found in Quarry Bay alongside both primary & secondary campuses of the Delia School of Canada. Highlights: Heng Fa Chuen is self contained with its own shopping mall, Paradise Mall. It features a large variety of shops and restaurants, and is adjacent to Heng Fa Chuen Station on the MTR’s Island Line. Just minutes away from Central, yet within close range of Shek O Country Park, the eastern side is popular for both its convenience and tranquility.
