22 August 2014 - The luxury residential sales market surged in the second quarter of 2014 and the trend appears to be continuing. The first unit from a newly available batch of apartments at “39 Conduit Road” in Mid-Levels West was sold yesterday. Sing Tao Daily reported that Flat B on the 38th floor of the property, with a saleable area of 2,476 sq. ft. was transacted for over HK$130 million, approximately HK$54,000 per sq. ft..
This comes after developer Henderson Land (0012) put forward a new batch of 24 units earlier this month. The corresponding units are sized between 2,123 to 5,732 sq. ft. (saleable) and are located between the 10th-46th floors with an average asking price of HK$ 61,230 per sq. ft..
The penthouse unit with roof top on the 46th floor is sized at 5,732 sq. ft. (saleable) and is asking for over HK$640 million, equivalent to HK$112,800 per sq. ft..
