21 November 2018 - OKAY.com, Hong Kong’s leading tech-enabled property agency today announced the opening of its newest co-working style office in Causeway Bay.  This marks the third office for the proptech real estate agency, which already covers Hong Kong’s major residential districts via its online presence and mobile property agents.

“We’re all excited about the new office,” said OKAY.com CEO Joshua Miller, “as it extends our physical coverage to Causeway Bay, Wanchai and Happy Valley.  In establishing multiple satellite offices across Hong Kong, we continue to make the process of buying, selling or renting a home easier for landlords, clients and property agents.”

In-line with its headquarters in Central, the new office employs a hotdesk platform for its agents to reduce its costs, enabling the company to pay higher commissions to its agents than competitors.  This is consistent with OKAY.com’s strategy of creating leading mobile technology and increase efficiencies for real estate professionals to better serve property owners and homeseekers.

“We’ve built a huge proprietary platform to increase our agents’ productivity,” said CTO, Torbjorn Dimblad, “with automation, property alerts and other tools that allow our agents to more quickly notify their clients of new listings on the market. This gives our clients an advantage in their search, since they too are competing with other buyers in the market to find a great property.  It also saves tremendous time in the homesearch process, with buyers and tenants able to preview properties on our platform before deciding to view them.”

To celebrate the its new office, OKAY.com held an informal opening with guests from many of Hong Kong’s leading property developers.

In response to the downturn in the market, Miller responded “The recent market slowdown creates more opportunity for buyers who have been standing on the sidelines. With people increasingly searching online for their property, it’s the right time for us to expand the OKAY.com agent network.”
