Acupuncture - holistic care

Acupuncture is a method of using very fine needles (slightly thicker than a human hair), to stimulate invisible lines of energy running beneath the surface of the skin. This effects a change in the energy balance of the body and works to restore health. Acupuncture is safe (only disposable are used). It is also relatively painless. Occasionally a slight tingling is felt upon insertion of the needle; however, this tingling quickly subsides. Acupuncture can be deeply relaxing and most patients feel very calm during treatment and arise refreshed.
